This course is an introduction to the health care delivery system in the United States including discussions about the various trends. This course emphasizes on contemporary issues related to health care professionals, facilities, organization patterns in reimbursement, and quality of care. This course presents a broad overview of educational and research institutions, public and private programs, managed care organizations and integrated networks that deliver health care to individuals.
